The headline for this story at The Detroit Free Press website reads:

Granholm pleads for auto, infrastructure aid
Her aim: Saving industry, creating jobs

This is worse than George Bush going to the Saudis to plead for more oil production. But what can you expect from a leftist Governor who wholeheartedly backs The One and his socialist future? Get used to it right now, 'cuz they're all going to start asking for money from the government i.e. your wallet.

What does she want? Directly from the article:

"1) emergency aid for the ailing U.S. auto industry [$25 billion in federal assistance above the $25 billion already approved by Congress], and for $260 million to build new roads, sewers and other infrastructure in Michigan that she said would create more than 4,000 jobs.

2) a stimulus package that will help 80,000 Michigan homeowners avoid foreclosures and that will extend unemployment benefits for an additional 13 weeks.

3) Plus:
She said she will issue an executive order to cut the state budget, although she did not say how much [she never does and seldom cuts anything anyway]
She said she will ask the Legislature to:
• Authorize an expansion of Cobo Convention Center.
• Allow the state to impose a 90-day freeze on home foreclosures to allow homeowners to refinance.
• Allow some low-income cities to create free college tuition programs for students, similar to the privately funded Kalamazoo project that gives free tuition to all eligible graduating high school students in Kalamazoo schools.
• Create a light rail transportation system in Detroit."

Light rail for Detroit? For Christ's sake. Again? Face it, Governor. You and your cronies have run this state into the ground. Your socialist friends in Washington helped create then burst the housing bubble. And save the auto companies? Because, like the financial bailout, they just can't do it without the government holding their hand? How about DRILL DRILL DRILL so the companies aren't faced with people who can't put gas in their vehicle?

You will never learn, will you? Free markets are the key. You big-government types just can't keep your sticky fingers out of it, can you? And don't give me any shit about deregulation and capitalism has failed and all that shit from the election rhetoric. We haven't had free market capitalism in this country for decades, not since your other socialist president FDR.

But, in the meantime, Jen, why don't you just face the fact that your plea only points out just how big a failure your administration has been, then head for Washington to join the other socialists in the Obamanation? You've earned your place with them.

UPDATE II: For Christ's sake, will someone PLEASE explain to the idiot governor that a) the God damn taxes in Michigan are too high for foreign companies to come here, and b) the God damn taxes are gonna go up all over the U. S. of A. when the Obamanation gets rolling, and c) people who run companies aren't stupid and won't relocate somewhere that the God damn taxes are too high, and so d) Jenny, CUT THE GOD DAMN TAXES.
